Visitor Guidelines

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, we expect everyone visiting us to do so with respect for other visitors and staff, exhibitions, and the historic building itself.  

While visiting the Milken Center to Advancing the American Dream, no visitor shall: 

  • Behave in a way or wear attire that is inappropriate (abusive, obscene, hateful, or hurtful) 
  • Carry firearms, other dangerous weapons, hazardous materials, openly or concealed.  
  • Demonstrate or protest (or display and/or carry placards, signs, banners, barriers, balloons, or flags on poles or sticks that do not fit in a permitted bag). 
  • Destroy, damage, or remove property. 
  • Climb upon any part of the building or exhibit. 
  • Loiter, sleep, or participate in unwarranted assemblies. 
  • Smoke any product (including e-cigarettes) or use smokeless tobacco, including within 25 feet of Center entrances. 
  • Solicit or advertise for commercial or charitable purposes or distribute advertisements, pamphlets, handbills, and flyers. 
  • Bring onto the premises or use any of the following prohibited items:  
    • Outside food and drinks that are not securely closed in bag or backpack 
    • Animals (with the exception of Service Animals as defined by the Department of Justice) 
    • Any weapons, guns, or knives (including pen knives), aerosol cans, including pepper spray and Mace, scissors, or tools  
    • Banners, placards, or signs  
    • Monopods, tripods, or selfie sticks 
    • Large bags (over 17” x 14”) or luggage  
    • Wagons (collapsible and fixed wheel) 

The Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission of any visitor or group whose conduct is deemed by the management to be disorderly or does not comply with the Visitor Guidelines. Disorderly conduct is not limited to the above guidelines.
